Opportunity to obtain a bonus yield of 27% with a low barrier being set at 49% of the respective index’ starting value

For investors who expect the economies in Austria and the Eurozone to perform stably in the forthcoming five years, and who deem price slumps on the stock markets particularly unlikely to occur, the ATX®/EURO STOXX 50® Bonus&Safety 2 Certificate represents a suitable investment product without capital protection, but with a substantial risk buffer.

The barrier is set at 49% of the starting value of the two indices. Therefore, the comfortable risk buffer (distance to the barrier) amounts to 51% at the beginning of the term.

At the maturity date (September 2021) the certificate will be redeemed at the bonus amount of EUR 1,270 per EUR 1,000 nominal value, provided that the index price of the ATX® AND the EURO STOXX 50® always quotes above 49% of the respective index’ starting value (= closing price on Sep 28, 2016) during the observation period (continuous observation). In case the barrier of the Bonus Certificate is violated by at least one of the underlying indices, the certificate is redeemed analogue to the performance of the worst performing underlying (percentage performance from the starting value to the closing price at the final valuation date) at the maturity date – “worst of“. Even if the barrier is touched or undercut investors do not participate in price gains above the starting value.
