Raiffeisen Investment Turkey MD wins M&A Advisor “40 under 40” award

Istanbul/New York/Vienna - The M&A Advisor announced the winners of the “40 Under 40 M&A Advisor Recognition Awards”. Gokce Kabatepe, Managing Director of Raiffeisen Investment in Turkey, was named a winner for the best dealmaker aged younger than 40.

For Gerhard Grund, Board Member of Raiffeisen Investment parent Raiffeisen Centrobank, the award recognizes the excellence and professionalism of the work of one of the group’s leading M&A specialists. “I’m very proud to see that Gokce has been chosen for his accomplishments and expertise from a pool of international nominees by an independent judging panel of distinguished business leaders,” Gerhard Grund points out. 

An outstanding career in investment banking

Gokce Kabatepe was appointed Managing Director of the Turkish office for Raiffeisen Investment in 2008. Under his leadership, Raiffeisen Investment Turkey closed more than 30 transactions for a total volume of $12 bn. Gokce has 15 years of investment banking experience working at companies such as Raymond James Securities, Korfez Investment Bank in Istanbul and R.W. Pressprich in New York. During his career, Gokce has been involved in numerous M&A and capital market transactions in a variety of sectors. 

The award

On October 1st, The M&A Advisor will host an Awards Gala at the New York Athletic Club in Manhattan to introduce the 40 Under 40 Award Winners to the business community and celebrate their achievements.
