Maciej Ptak has taken on as CEO of Raiffeisen Investment Polska Sp. z o.o.. In his new capacity, he will further strengthen the position of Raiffeisen in the field of investment banking, with a focus on developing the equity capital markets as well as mergers & acquisitions.
“My goal will be to strengthen Raiffeisen position on M&A advisory, equity capital market and debt capital market in Poland as well as to capitalize on Raiffeisen’s investment and commercial banking presence in Poland, other CEE countries and Austria,” outlines the newly appointed CEO, Maciej Ptak.
Mr. Ptak joins Raiffeisen from Espirito Santo Investment Bank, where he had worked as Head of Equity Capital Markets. Prior to that, he collected professional experience at UniCredit CAIB Poland, Ernst & Young and Schroder Salomon Smith Barney in London. Throughout the years he has been involved in many ECM and M&A transactions, advising state owned companies as well as private Polish and international corporates.
