Record participation in Raiffeisen Centrobank’s Investor Conference in Zürs

Traditional event with expanded focus

Zürs, April 11, 2012 - Yesterday afternoon the traditional Institutional Investor Conference hosted by Raiffeisen Centrobank started in Zürs/Arlberg. Again, numerous top-ranking representatives of listed companies and fund managers are attending the conference. Taken by market capitalisation and assets under management, this year’s event gets by far ahead of the previous years - as the fund managers coming to Zürs are managing a record volume of EUR 300 bn.

This year’s conference sees a particularly broad international audience - in addition to the Austrian fixed starters, the number of participants from Central and Eastern Europe has substantially increased, with a strong focus being placed on Poland and Russia. Representatives of almost half of the Polish WIG-20 have come, and seven leading Russian and internationally traded companies from other CEE countries are participating.

For over ten years the Investor Conference in Zürs has been one of the top dates for the Austrian capital market, and has meanwhile become a hub of the equity business in Central and Eastern Europe. The conference stretches over three days in the Hotel Zürserhof, with over 60 companies presenting themselves and roughly 1,000 meetings and one-on-ones between companies and investors.
