RCB Investors' Conference in Zürs sees record participation of companies and investors

  • Traditional Investors' Conference of Raiffeisen Centrobank (RCB) from April 10 to April 12, 2013
  • More than 60 companies and 150 investors expected to participate
  • About 1,000 group talks and one-on-ones

Vienna/Zürs – RCB's annual investors' conference in Zürs, Arlberg, which is held for the 12th time in a row, takes place this week. Numerous top representatives of listed companies and leading fund managers from Austria and the CEE region will again take this opportunity to get together against the backdrop of the currently particularly challenging market environment, and seek to identify and explore new investment opportunities. In the course of the three-day conference 62 companies will present themselves at the hotel Zürserhof, and roughly 1,000 group talks and one-on-ones will be held. Over 150 investors have confirmed their participation in the event. Michael A. Spiss, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of RCB, considers this active participation, both from companies and investors, a strong signal of the unabated interest in the capital markets in Austria and the CEE region. “This year we have reached our limits and were, for the first time, forced to refuse several companies. Nevertheless, we are very pleased by the high demand for sound information which is of substantial importance in the current market environment. The unabated interest in our investors’ conference is strong sign of trust in the capital markets of our core regions in Austria and CEE”, says Michael Spiss.

RCB's investors' conference has developed into one of the major conferences of its kind during the past years, and presents itself again as an international platform. In addition to the Austrian companies, among them numerous companies listed in the ATX, an increased number of participants of the CEE region will participate. Special focus is placed on Polish and Russian blue chips. Moreover, various Czech, Romanian and Croatian companies will be joining the conference.

The investors' conference in Zürs has become one of the key dates for the Austrian capital market and is also a well-established meeting place for the equities business in the CEE region.
