Vienna – At the beginning of this year, Börse Social Network (BSN) announced the winners of the Number One Awards 2017. RCB has been honoured in two categories: The competence center for equities and certificates has been awarded as the Number One issuer of structured products and has won the award as largest specialist/ market maker on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
With currently more than 6,000 certificates and warrants, RCB offers more than half of the products listed on the Vienna stock market and has therefore been rewarded in the category ”largest Austrian issuer”.
Heike Arbter, Head of Structured Products, is happy about this acknowledgement: “The year 2017 was not only a record year in terms of the invested volume in certificates. Against the backdrop of the current market environment, certificates have also become increasingly popular among private investors. This trend in tandem with the award is a high motivation for my team and myself.”
Since April 2017, the competence center for equities and certificates has been active as leading Austrian specialist for 20 out of 38 companies listed in the ATX Prime Market and has thus clearly won the Number One Award as largest specialist / market maker.

The Number One Awards are annually awarded to all Austrian capital market participants with the aim to present and highlight the biggest players in the Viennese capital market. The selection of the winners is based on facts from statistics collected and analyzed by BSN and has been conducted for the fourth time this year. With eight trophies in total in the past four years, RCB is the leading award-winning house at the Number One Awards.
