Raiffeisen Centrobank doubles product range

Vienna –

In the last few weeks Raiffeisen Centrobank AG (RCB) has achieved to nearly double its product range, offering more than 8.000 products based on equitites, indices and commodities. A large part of the product-expansion can be attributed to the so far greatest issuance of the RCB: During one week of January almost 3.000 products were issued at the stock markets of Vienna, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Warsaw.

Thus, the RCB clearly underlines its number 1 position as national issuer of certificates: “As with the issuance of every single product, it is our primary aim, to provide usability of market-chances for the investor. Simultaneously, the amount of newly issued products reflects the fortunate trend that more and more investors find certificates appealing and decide to include them in their portfolios”, states Heike Arbter, managing director of RCB.

The RCB has issued classical and partial protection certificates as well as certificates with leverage, which are highly demanded due to their interesting yield opportunities. The latter serve as possibilities for the investors to profit disproportionally high from a strong market opinion as well as to hedge existing stock positions. As concerns underlyings the products are mostly based on shares of the leading German index DAX as well as on ATX-titles.
