At the Certificates Awards 2020/2021, the leading awards for the best providers and products in the German certificates’ market which are held by the specialist magazine "Der Zertifikatberater" and the news channel n-tv with the support of the Stuttgart and Frankfurt stock exchanges, Raiffeisen Centrobank’s "Sustainability Bond 90% IV” took 3rd place in the public voting for the "Certificate of the Year"!
Due to the situation evolving around COVID-19, this event did not take place in traditional manners as a gala in Berlin, but as a digital live event, which meant that for the first time the many thousands of participants who took part in the online voting could also be present during the live awards. More than 13,000 investors had voted for RCB’s “Sustainability Bond 90% IV” to be placed on the podium of the “Certificate of the Year” awards.
In total 12 product concepts were nominated in this category which are labelled particularly useful, innovative, investor-friendly or successful, and given the huge range of certificates, to be nominated is already to be seen as a major success. We are thus even more pleased now with the award of the 3rd place.
Not only was the extremely simple and promising payout profile a key factor for the success, but certainly also the underlying; the certificate namely refers to the STOXX® Global ESG Leaders Select 50 Index, which contains companies that are among the best in the world in supporting areas of the environment, social affairs and corporate governance.
