The Germany Bond 3 Guarantee Certificate of Raiffeisen Centrobank enables investors to generate an overall yield of 28 %, provided that each of the four German blue chips quotes above the 55 % barrier during the observation period. At the end of the term one of the two scenarios will occur:
SCENARIO 1: 28 % yield + 100 % nominal value. Provided that each share quotes above the barrier during the observation period, 128 % nominal value are paid out at the end of the term.
SCENARIO 2: 100 % nominal value (capital guarantee). In case any of the shares drops below the barrier during the observation period 100 % nominal value are paid out at the maturity date.
The certificate qualifies for investors who expect those stocks to record a medium-term stable performance and do not estimate prices to nosedive by over 45 %. At the same time the certificate provides a high degree of security: in case at least one of the four stocks slumps by over 45 %, the capital guarantee applies and the investor obtains 100 % nominal value (capital guarantee) at the end of the six-year term.
